I have been specializing in personal and business taxation and representation in Oregon and Washington since 2009. I service all of Washington and Oregon. I’m an enrolled agent (EA) and an Oregon Licensed Tax Consultant. I live in the South Puget Sound area with my wife of over 30 years. In our spare time, my wife and I enjoy spending time with our kids and grandkids. I’m a local resident who understands life in the Northwest.

I’ve always had an interest in mathematics. That, coupled with my customer service experience in the work world, made tax preparation seem like a natural direction for me to take. I first began my tax preparation journey in the fall of 2009. This was shortly after The Great Recession of 2008. I had the opportunity to enroll in a tax preparer course with Jackson Hewitt. I found I had an aptitude for tax preparation, and I enjoyed it. I worked for several tax companies over the next few years, then struck out on my own in 2015.

I enjoy helping people. I saw a need for folks to have an advocate with the taxing authorities. There is just too much tax law for the average taxpayer to know it all. That’s where I come in. I can help you understand your specific tax situation. Each case is unique. I thrive on the challenge of figuring out the best course of action for my clients, and coming to the correct resolution.

I work almost exclusively remote. I utilize a secure portal, which allows exchange of confidential documents and information securely and conveniently. Most interviews can be conducted via phone, email, or virtually. If an in person meeting is needed, we can make arrangements for that. My tax organizer is comprehensive and answers most questions I’ll have concerning your tax situation.
